David Bowie: Fame, Fashion, Photography

Small Back Room are feeling Ziggy today as we announce the dates for the upcoming David Bowie photography exhibition being held on Heddon Street, London. We are creative partners and sponsoring the event in conjunction with The Crown Estate's Regent Street.

The exhibition is a unique collection of images from three British photographers who shared a close working relationship with David Bowie. Many have not been exhibited before and have not been seen outside the photographers' studios - pictures of David from the private archives of Chalkie Davies, Tony McGee and Denis O'Regan.

'David Bowie: Fame, Fashion, Photography' is free and being held on the very street where David Bowie was photographed for the cover of 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars', released in June 1972.

It aims to raise thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK through a silent online auction of framed images, which are signed by the photographers. Bidding opens at 6:30pm on June 6th and ends at 6:30pm on June 19th.
